Awhile back I mentioned the missing scrollbar from the Delta Airlines global gateway.

It seems that Delta is not alone in making this rookie mistake. Even the folks at Google are not immune, as seen below on the Google Firebase site:

By default, there is no visible scrollbar, so one might assume that Google’s language support ends at Japanese.

It does not (#korean), but you need to hover and begin scrolling to find out. And there’s only one additional language just out of sight, which makes the entire experience even that more awkward.

If you come across similar scrollbar-less gateways, please let me know. I worry that we’re on the verge of an epidemic of the less-than-user-friendly components.

To Google’s credit, it does make excellent use of the generic global gateway icon.
